I am a portrait and figurative artist who celebrates the essence of being human with all its flaws, fears and insecurities.

I like to capture individuals in their off-guard moments and aim to suggest a mood or narrative from the subtleties of the angle of a head or a deadpan stare.

After graduating from Stourbridge College of Art I went on to spend 25 years as an art teacher, teaching various different ages from 7 – 18.

In 2022 I was selected to appear on Portrait Artist of the Year, which was an incredible experience and one that solidified my desire to become a professional artist.
I work from home and at my studio in Whetstone where I am a member of Studio Fridays group of artists.
